What a great article. I do wish we could find a better word than "addiction" for this behavior though.

i have been with my wife for 8 years now, we have been married fo 4 years now. my mother in law has been in my wifes ears behind the scenes with this guilt trip, mind manipulation stuff trying to turn her away from me because she doesnt like me for her, telling her that we will never achieve anything together, and by threatening to cut her out of her will and not help her in anyway and leaving no stone unturned to make her feel uncomfortable. my mother in law even stooped so low to work on and manipulate my wifes 14 year old daughter against me and to influence my wife against us being together. my wife is 49 years old, i am 45. i do all and everything that i can do for my wife her daughter and anyone else in her family. we cant live together because my wife lives in a separate apt on the second floor that she pays rent for in her mothers house, seperate entrances. we plan to buy a house together and her mother drilled into my wifes daughter head that she doesnt have to go with us and that my mother in law will care for her, how can someone stoop that low ?
